I finally picked up the OME 2886, 2896 springs and Nitrocharger Sport shocks 90000/60004. Installed today. This thing is high! A bit too high for my taste. Lifted approx 3.5-4" on front and rear. According to the PDF by ARB, I should see maybe 2-2.5" lift. Has anyone had similar experience...

Has anyone had luck in fully wiping off the excess after adding grease? My u-joints always throw some excess and the car smells like burnt grease no matter how much I clean. I've even taken to wrapping aluminum foil around the exhaust and taking a drive to purge the majority of excess off...

Following up... the van was traded last year with 196k miles on the clock (yes, close to 200k in about 5 years). No further issues noted with oil consumption or blue smoke. The thing ran great, no mechanical failures, but the owner wanted AWD and traded in for a Subaru Outback.

We pulled the front valve cover and used a boroscope to look at everything possible. Looks very clean, almost new. The owner has made the decision to run it as-is and will keep a close eye on oil consumption. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the compliments. I agree, the gap still needs some adjustment. Looks like there may have been undisclosed damage from before I bought the car and the bumper wouldn't drop much lower due to how the frame mount brackets lined up. :bash: Not sure how much I'll be able to get out of it...

Parts left over. Also note that Shrockworks didn't ship me the skid plate, so that has not been installed. I should get it in a couple of days.
