    Next vehicle?

Thanks for all the replies guys. For some reason I thought that the GX was the largest vehicle that Lexus made, but the LX570 just might fit the bill. I'm not crazy about the front grill, but everything else seems to fit our needs. I guess it's between the LX570 and the QX80 Limited at this...

    Next vehicle?

Our 2010 4Runner Limited has been nothing short of fantastic with 100k miles so far. Aside from annual synthetic oil changes, I replaced all rotors/pads and the rear hatch struts. We have 2 kids and not only does the wife want a 3rd row, but she wants a much bigger vehicle. She's eyeing a 2017...

What oil are you using? 4.0L

:sleepy: LOL...I try to avoid that place like the plague. I've been to Walmart twice in my life and both trips were to buy oil. I'm really not an anti big-box retail person, it's more the type of people that work/shop there that I don't care for.

    CD's stuck in the changer!!

Thanks. I read that thread before I posted and that's where I got the troubleshooting techniques. I'm having the same problems as the person in that thread and the dealer will replace the stereo under warranty, but I'd like to see if there's a hard factory reset that can be done of some sort to...

$58.xx/month for full coverage through State Farm with $500 deductibles. 1 speeding ticket, no accidents 2 married drivers ~30 yrs old 4 total auto policies, 1 homeowners policy and a personal articles policy There are really so many other variables though. I live in the Midwest and the car...

    CD's stuck in the changer!!

We have a '10 4Runner Limited with all options except 3rd row.... Is there a way to reset the CD changer to get the stuck CD's out? I've tried holding the eject button for several seconds, turning off the stereo, disconnecting the battery, etc... with no luck. Any other suggestions? All...

    Weathertech v. Husky mats v.?

We have the Huskys for the front and rear (not the sliding rear cargo deck though) for the '10 Limited. Great product. Fits perfectly. Stays put with no sliding.

    trail edition tire preasure monitor?

I'm in the same boat with my Mercedes CLS63 AMG. I'm buying winter wheels and tires but I'm having a hard time justifying TPMS at $270 for the set when I religiously check my tire pressures (especially in winter). I'm on fence, but will likely add the TPMS so I don't have a warning light/chime...

Got my runner dirty this weekend

Very nice. I wish our 4Runner would see a little off-road time. It's the wife's car so it'll never see so much as a gravel road :)

anyone changed oil yet on 5th gen?

It's a pretty straightforward oil change process. Anyone who has changed the oil in a car, truck or SUV should have no problem. The cartridge filter was a PITA to find, but easy to install.I used Rhino ramps for a little extra room for the skid plate to swing down and it was a piece of cake. 15...

20" Cruiser Alloy 902C Wheels On Today!! (6/3)

+1. Most 4Runners will never see any off road time, but many on here (perhaps even the majority) are off road enthusiasts. Don't let some of the comments get to you. While the 4Runner is very capable off road, there's no way I'm taking this through rugged terrain. The most use we'll get out of...

    Recommendation on oil changes.

Autozone has the parts/oil that you need. The oil filter is FRAM ch10158 and they had Mobil1 0w-20 on sale for $2.99/qt. Needless to say, I bought all the oil they had (28 quarts). We should be set on oil for a while....lol

    Recommendation on oil changes.

I changed the oil in the 4runner this past weekend and it wasn't as easy as I thought. The whole process took about 45 mins.. I'd like to strangle the guy who decided that the whole damn skid plate needed to be removed to access the oil filter. After removing the skid plate it's just a basic...

Cloth VS Leather Seats VS Dogs

We have a limited so I can't comment on your dog issue aside from the fact that our English Bulldog and Teddy bear puppy (bischon, poodle, pomeranian, shitzu) are in the truck frequently and cause zero problems whether it be shedding or scratches. We BOTH GREATLY APPRECIATE your service...
