Alternative to toyota "W.S trans.Fluid"
When there's something I cant figure out or dont want to tackle on my vehicles I take it to a friend who runs a great repair shop . He also owns a 06 tundra with the sealed transmission and he has changed his tranny fluidevery 30k with Mobil 1 or I...
Maybe it's me but everytime I do a search to find a paticular subject it keeps telling me " two more items remaining" and it never finds my search,so I give up.
What am I doing wrong:confused:
I got 75K miles on my "05" V-6 so I decided to check the existing gap on a couple of PLUGS they were way over the limit, around .060 to .070 and it still runs without missing a beat. It probably isn't helping my fuel economy either.
So I think it's time to put some new plug in...
Are there any 05 service manuals out there yet. The chiltons ,Haynes or Clymers seem to only go up to "03".
Has any one had any luck finding a later revision ?
Can I change the trans oil my self, or does it really need to be done at the dealer for $150.00. I've always done my own service on my cars and trucks.
Thanks: Walt:biggrin2:
