My wife's 06 has a bad drivers side wheel bearing. I am having trouble finding out how to replace it. Local shop says $530 to do it. Everyone keeps telling me to do it myself but I am having trouble finding the way to do it on 2wd, all my search hits show 4wd. Also in my searches I keep coming...

Bad injector on #2 after having it hooked up at a shop. Also tech says po420 is bad cat, not sensor. Claims he would not pay price for new cat, but new sensors will not cure the cel.

Well I give up, guess it's time to pay up! After 61 miles of driving waiting on another CEL it came. The same old p0420 and now cylinder 2 misfire. Thanks for trying to help. Will turn it over to someone that knows what they are looking for.

First code was misfire on random cylinders. Second was misfire on cylinder 1 and 3 Cleared them and waiting on them to show back up. Any idea which coil pack controls 1 and 3? Are they on the same one? Thanks!

Got a 99 limited 3.4 4wd. Pretty sure it's a california emission setup due to the fiasco changing the previous 02 sensors. Changed out for the Bosch before I found out not to. Anyway, got a little misfire action going on along with bad 02 sensors again. Was going to replace all 3 coil packs...

I am talking about where guys reinforce the frame ends with angle iron welded in place to prevent frame damage from winching. Very common amongst guys mounting arb's on 3rd gen 4runners.

Is it still recommended to box in the frame ends to use a winch on this bumper? Noticed the install instructions on your site did not mention it.

Will this fix the backlight on the actual display? Swapped out my control head today with a better used one, but has zero lighting working.

Thanks alot guys. Might just have to order one soon so I can see first hand what it needs. Anyone seen a frame that had to have few inches cut off for the bracket to fit? Have come across atleast one thread on another site that had to do this.

Thanks, just read through and found the info in your build. I am not wanting to deal with the end cap. Not sure what hardware to use or how much of a pain it is. I would assume the hardware is not included in the kit and would have to be bought elsewhere?

I have been searching for few weeks now and read tons of post about the arb tacoma bumper being used on 3rd gen runners. My question concerns the recent post I stumbled across the web stating that arb has "updated" the mounting setup on the 3423030. I have called arb and they say nothing fits...

not sure, but my 99 has it. Was the sole reason I was willing to pay little more than I wanted just to get it.
