Once I got everything back together the headlights came back.
The strange thing is that the exact same bulbs that were burnt out on the guages & HVAC are still not working with new LEDs installed.
Im stumped.
I swapped the gauge, HVAC, key, ashtray, glovebox & the ECT lights for LEDs. Now I have it put all back together & no lights work. Not even the headlights.
What could have gone wrong to cause this?
I have everything apart to swap out all of the bulbs, but before I put it back together I wanted to test everything & nothing is working.
Even the headlights won’t come on.
Does a particular cable have to be plugged in for any of the lights to work?
Does anyone know what this peice is supposed to look like when it’s not just a horse shoe hanging on a bracket?
Has anyone tried one of those inserts or sourced a reasonable replacement?
Do people just remove it and go without it?

I had an 01 Limited that had keyless entry and I had no problem programming new factory remotes for it.
Now I have an 02 Sport with just a metal key. So I bought a factory remote and can't get the truck to go into "programming mode".

I have been plagued by a rattle. I crawl under my 02 4x4 Sport and find this thing rattling around under there. What is it and how do I stop it from rattling?
That looks like the wiper they gave me but it doesn't have that bump stop piece on it.
I'm guessing I can add that and it sandwiches between the little screws and they wiper blade?
Those screws aren't very long.:confused:
This may seem like a strange request but I did search and cannot find a detailed picture of a complete factory rear wiper.
I have been to the dealer twice now and they keep putting on wipers that can't possibly be the correct ones.
I am sure that stop on the gate is supposed to connect with...
