LED swap & now no lights

I swapped the gauge, HVAC, key, ashtray, glovebox & the ECT lights for LEDs. Now I have it put all back together & no lights work. Not even the headlights.

What could have gone wrong to cause this?

Start with checking and re-seating your gauge pack plugs, lot of stuff runs thru the cluster....check fuse...backtrack.

Once I got everything back together the headlights came back.

The strange thing is that the exact same bulbs that were burnt out on the guages & HVAC are still not working with new LEDs installed.

Im stumped.

so except for the burnt out bulbs all the rest of the led bulbs are functional? if that is the case then could possibly be a fuse or wiring issue. Do you have a test light?

I don’t have a test light but it’s odd that just half of the HVAC & guage lights don’t work.

I've got a better idea. Open the dash back up, pull the bulbs, and the re-insert them 180deg from the original position. No idea why. But, when I replaced mine, same thing happened and worked after doing this. Check them after you do that and BEFORE you button everything back up. Good luck.
