I took a written quote from the dealer to the tire installer and without question they handed over the cash to have the tire pressure sensor fixed. Lesson learned to be very careful when choosing a tire installer.
The dealer checked out the pressure sensors and claims that one of my sensors was broken during the tire install, which causes it to misread the actual tire pressure. The sensor shows a faulty reading of 9psi when the actual tire pressure is 35psi. They want $187.00 for the part and 138.00...
