I picked up a trd pro 4Runner a year ago, thought it would be a nice upgrade and compliment to my 99. Here is the problem for me, YMMV... I thought the new technology especially in 4wd would be awesome...well with the pro you have soooo many options to pick when in 4wd that it became a nuisance...

well, again IMHO the 4th gen grew so much from the 3rd gen and does not have the Traction Control system like the 5th gens (which is a really nice 4WD system). I just really love the compactness of the 3rd gen from a drivers ergo perspective as well as getting through the tight stuff off road...
