1GR-FE with 320K miles - How long till doomsday?

Yes, the O2 sensor not the upstream A/F sensor. Good advice, jvtbt. Think I'll get the leak down gauge.

1GR-FE with 320K miles - How long till doomsday?

Sorry, got distracted by my daughter's Hyundai. Asylvester: 400-500K, huh? That sounds awesome. Second opinion sounds logical. 4R-4ever: Little to no oil consumption. bSuppose I could remove the tensioner cover and see how far out it is? Thanks for the replies.

1GR-FE with 320K miles - How long till doomsday?

Thanks for the reply, Mike. What would one be looking for on the cylinder walls? Confirmation of the poor leak test, i.e., rings are bad? Would I be scratching my head harder if the walls look good? Ha ha!

1GR-FE with 320K miles - How long till doomsday?

My 2004 SR5 has never had a valve job, timing chain or rings replaced AS FAR AS I KNOW. I bought her at 140K, 320K now. Have been chasing and "solving" lean bank 1 then lean bank 2 then lean bank1 for a couple of months now. By solving I mean replacing the cats, servicing the injectors, then...

    265/65R17 on 7" wheels - OK?

The installer was kind enough to mount a new 265/65 tire on the 17x7 rims and put it on the front of Runner. No clearance issues. I decided to go ahead and mount all on the 17x7 rims. It doesn't look bad but I do wonder about unusual tread wear or sidewall stress or quick emergency turns. So far...

    265/65R17 on 7" wheels - OK?

2004 SR5 V6. Ran across some newer 17x7 +15mm OEM wheels and bought em. My current OEM's are 17x7-1/2 +30MM. Like a dummy I ordered the same tire size I've had forever, 265/65R17 Michelin LTX's, BEFORE I found out that new wheels were 7" width. Will 265/65R17's fit the 17X7 wheels OK? Do I...

2003-2005 and 2006-2009 seat wiring help needed

Thank you so much for this. Replaced my 04 with a 'brand new' 05 driver's seat. Took me about 2 hours jus because I was trying to be super careful. Hardest part was replacing the seat belt receptacle on the 04 harness. Tore up the housing a little bit getting it open. My original receptacle's...
