Greasing UCA Bushings / Tight Clearance

It is recommended to re-torque the bolt with weight on the tire. So this would not be ideal. I just did this, and it is not too difficult to do this with the tire still on.

Adding homelink to SR5 5th gen?

If I purchase an overhead console with the Homelink buttons, but without the DAC and A-TRAC (blanks), can I insert my buttons into the blank spots and have everything work? Or do I have to use an overhead console with all the buttons? Thanks.

Adding homelink to SR5 5th gen?

I have a 2014 SR5 and want to know the exact same thing. Does anyone know if I add a home link overhead console without a sunroof if this is pre-wired? Thanks.

    JBA UCA Question

I just ordered a set of JBA UCA STD for my 2.5" lift going on tomorrow. How do you tell the difference between the RH and LH side UCA? Is there a marker on them, they the same, or can they only go on one way? Sorry if this is an obvious answer. Thanks.

    Lift/Alignment Question

I am getting ready to do a 2.5" / 1.5" Cornfed Rear Spacer Lift (4) Bilstein 5100. I went ahead and purchased a set of JBA UCA STD to go along with it. What should I tell the shop that is doing the work, along with the alignment, about where to target the caster? I am running 275/70/17 BFG...

    Bilstein 5100 2.5" with 275/70/17

I decided the 1.75" / 1" was not going to be enough of a lift with 275/70/17 for my liking. So 2.5" / 1.5" it is, but I went ahead and also purchased a set of JBA UCA STD - it is my wife's DD and our family vehicle, and can't afford for it to drive like poop on the highway. :) Thanks all...

    Bilstein 5100 2.5" with 275/70/17

If I have a shop do the front end work + alignment, and I do the rear with the 1" spacer and 5100 install afterwards, is another alignment necessary? Thanks.

    Bilstein 5100 2.5" with 275/70/17

Hey All, I know another 5100 thread... I am not seeing a lot of folks running their Bilstein 5100's at the 2.5" setting, and rather the 1.75". I am set to get them installed and purchased the 1.5" rear spacer from Cornfed as I was planning on going 2.5"/1.5". Is anyone running this amount of...

    2014 Homelink install anyone?

Sorry to bring this post up from the dead, but looking to add the homelink buttons from the overhead console to my 2014 SR5 premium. Does anyone know if it is pre-wired behind the existing console, and if not, is there a write up on the install anywhere? Thanks.

    Fuel Injector Service - Necessary?

Hey All, I just got my 35k service on my 2014 4runner, and Toyota is recommending a Fuel Injector Service. As the service advisor described to me, "We hook it up to a high pressure machine, disconnect your fuel line and run the vehicle with it hooked up. Then we remove your air intake and...

    Converter Lock??

I could have given it more gas while climbing those grades, but was afraid to get the transmission even hotter than it was already getting, but it sounds like I should shift from S4 on level grades to S5 and give it more gas to try and increase speed to get it to lock. Will this keep...

    Converter Lock??

Forgive my ignorance. So in the 5th gen 4Runners in order to get a torque converter lock going up steep grades while towing, I should not be in S4, but rather in S5 or D? I just got back from towing my travel trailer up the Santiam Pass in Oregon. This is a brutal climb, as it is about 20-30...

    2014 4Runner - Travel Trailer Questions

96r50: Thank you so much for the information. I have a ScanGauge II arriving tomorrow so those codes will come in handy. The info on the tires is as follows: Load Range C Max Load (lbs) 2470 Is anyone running anything other than the stock cooling for their transmission when towing? I know...
