What trim levels and model years came with the "theft deterrent" from the factory? Apparently this was only something for 2006+ model years and there seems to be no rhyme or reason which trim levels have this "theft deterrent" option when searching online. Looking at possibly replacing both...

UPDATE on my parking brake issue... according to Crutchfield tech support, there were some early '05-'06 models that did not communicated the Parking Brake status over the CAN data system, so Maestro cannot detect that info to send to the radio. Just like the TPMS not showing up for a few folks...

Formidable thanks for making the thread! Just installed the H11 low beam F-S2 bulbs in my '06 4Runner... love it! I've done full on HID retrofits in my previous vehicles... these are superior to most HID systems and SO much easier!

You would need to get the smaller rotors AND the 13WG calipers to fit the 16" wheels. Either that, or you could take a grinder to the outside of your current callipers and try to modify them by shaving down the metal. That's risky but I've seen it done on sports cars successfully.

Really digging this look and potential setup for my '06 daily. Currently have level kit and Spidertrax on the way. If you did it over, anything you'd do differently?
