Theft Deterrent? - Replacing Doors

What trim levels and model years came with the "theft deterrent" from the factory? Apparently this was only something for 2006+ model years and there seems to be no rhyme or reason which trim levels have this "theft deterrent" option when searching online. Looking at possibly replacing both driver side doors on my 2006 Limited V8 4WD.

See pics below. Searching both options, I get SR5, Sport Edition, and Limited results for each search. Is this actually relevant, and why for only the front doors?

From what I have on my 2004 Limited the "Theft Deterrent" is the glass itself, on my glass it says on a sticker on each piece of glass "Theft Deterrent" and each piece of glass has the Vin Number etched into the glass, so if my vehicle is ever stolen and they parted out the glass it could lead to an arrest because of the etched Vin Number on the glass, the door itself as well as other body parts could possibly have the Vin Number stamped into it somewhere, but I don't that for sure.

My 2005 SR5 has those stickers on all 4 doors and glass as dose the rear hatch..

That was a Gulf States Toyota add-in. Done at the port, and since your in Texas you can assume that most models sold around you came from GS. It inculded their add on alarm. Mine came with that and 100,000 mile floor mats too!

Great info... thank you! So if replacing the doors, I need to pull them from another 4R which also had the theft deterrent?

No the Theft Deterrent option was just the vin number etched in the window glass like [MENTION=149207]AuSeeker[/MENTION] said.
