Yeah - I just found it in the FSM... Is that the same as a Mass Air Flow Sensor? That's all that comes up on Autozone.com when I search for "Air Flow" Is it absolutely needed to run the engine? Think I read somewhere that the fuel pump will not run unless something senses air flow - but...

Just picked up a wrecked 88 4Runner. Gonna use the drivetrain in a Suzuki Samurai if I can get it running. My question is this - there appears to be a component missing from the engine compartment - just behind the driver's headlight. (See pic) What is supposed to go here? Thanks, Mark
