Gateway Fish Camp, 229 Fort Gates Ferry Road Crescent City, FL 32112-4611.
Meet on the East side of the St Johns River at 9:30am, take the ferry over ($10 per vehicle) and then head west through the Ocala National Forest. Some of us will be camping Saturday night either at one of the spring related camp ground areas or just out in the woods somewhere.
IMPORTANT - THE RIDE WILL BEGIN WITH THE FERRY SO IF YOU WANT TO RIDE IT ACROSS MEET US ON THE EAST SIDE before 9:30am.
For those coming from the west and who may want to shorten their drive to meet up (maybe by an hour or more) you can skip the ferry and can take the forest service roads and meet us on the west side at about 10:15am.
Once on the west side and gathered up we hit the trails.
Cell service is an unknown but we can use cb channel 12 to talk across the river if necessary
Here is some information about the ferry and a map you can zoom out on to get perspective where we will meet. The map icon is placed on the west side of the river but if you look across to the east side you will will see our meet place where Ft Gates Ferry Rd dead ends to the river.
