I have nearly identical specs as you on my 'Runner, same year as well , got any pics of ur rig anywhere?
I'll be in the area around that time. Going on a 3 week roadtrip through 12 National Parks through South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. My time in Utah last year wasn't enough, decided to outdo myself this year though. I don't know the exact dates that I'll be in that area, it's more likely that I'll have made it there sometime during the first week of June though.
I was under the impression that those roads were plowed and re-opened in May. I've seen quite a share of videos from soggy trails in June with massive walls of snow on either side of the road, but the roads were plowed and open nonetheless?

That's usually the end of June. Big difference between May and the end of June. It's not just Ouray, any high mtn pass in CO won't be open in May.

I'm meeting up with family the week of May 30th and was worried things would still be snowpacked. Hopefully I can at least get in some mountain biking.
Oh well, looks like i'll just be spending an extra day in Moab then lol
Well based on the past number of years, it looks like Engineer Pass will be open by the first week of June, but Imogene almost certainly is ruled out. And The Telluride area has seen a lot less snow the past few months compared to last number of years so far too (It is an El Nino year after all). I'm not holding my breath that I'll get to do Imogene, but I'm confident Engineer will be open by the time I get there, albeit pretty messy I'm sure.
Yeah I discovered that bushducks site the other day, it's a great resource, especially being able to check previous years!
