got the fire control group back in, flash hider (needed any US made muzzle device) and the butt stock on. I put in a different spring, suppose to make the trigger feel better. I have to file down the safety, so that's it for today.

I dont know what the Couriers make these days back in my day they were paid by the stop. for me it was a part time Job. I dont know how some of these career Couriers do it. I mean you can write off all your expenses at tax time, but it's rough....

no actually i wanted to ask how easy it was to get your ccw. cuz over here in CoCo county you pretty much have to give the police cheif a BJ, make him a sandwich, do his laundry, wash his truck, wipe his ass and take his wife shopping to be even consider for an application.

Here in WA, you just apply at your local sheriff's office and pay a fee. OR and UT require a class prior to submitting your application. However, if you have permits for both OR and UT, you are legally able to conceal carry in 32 states.

I have a related questionnaire/discussion
I'm certain most of you have experienced a shortage of ammo, magazines, and other related gun items. what is the reasoning or justification behind panic buying?
aside from the politics and what's going on with the media and gun control. yes this is relevant; however, why is it that the majority of the public will rush out and essentially consume and deplete all rations available to anything that becomes threatened. Specifically speaking of renewable items.
before all the controversy over gun control heightened, we all were able to go and purchase ample target rounds for competitions, practice, training, and recreation. On a weekly basis I could walk into a Walmart, local gun shop, or sporting goods facility and pick up what I needed for the next couple weeks. supplies are continuously manufactured so the shelfs were restored in time for further purchases. Now everyone's decided they need to buy all the ammo, guns, and accessories on the self they either have in stock at the store or what amount they can afford out of there own pocket.
I mean how many kids didnt get to get that 22lr this year for Christmas from their dad so they could shoot together. Just because someone decided they needed to purchase all the rifles a particular store had in stock even though they had an ample collection to begin with.
greed maybe? I just can't quite understand. For instance I've got maybe 50 rounds of personal defense rounds for my glock 22. I personally believe if I have to use all 50 rounds to defend myself. Odds are there's going to be another weapon to pick up if I need it, with ammo loaded. Same goes for any guns I own. I can half way understand target rounds as the demand for training, ccw classes, and recreational practice. but why the need to load up on so many.
any fireworks that leave the ground in northcarolina are illegal; however, those of us that appreciate a good ol Roman candle just drive on over to SC and purchase whatever we want no need to stock up on everything the have in stock.

I think some of this has to do with new gun owners afraid of nobama's new policy, same as the assault weapon ban, when the news of a assault weapon ban floated around people bought assaults weapons like hot cakes and what do ya know they banned it and pre-ban weapons are worth twice what they sold for originally. Some people are just greedy like you said, i know people that bought AR15s AKs and thousands dollars worth of ammo right when all this commotion happened and double their money right after. I personally think it's messed up. As far as ammo goes more people buying guns = more people buying ammo, plus all the other gun owners stocking up on ammo before nobama starts to regulate it. I would suggest buying from the internet but, i buy from the internet quiet often and i've notice some of my favorite cost effect ammo are now out of stock. going over to wally world next week to see if there are any.
