Slow forum. Is it ever going to get back to normal?

Starting two months ago, this entire forum has gone to a snails pace.
Before members start *****ing about adding posts like this is what causes it to slow, no the do not.

I would hate for this forum to fall into the IH8MUD style of over advertising slowing that forum to be useless.

Admin please advise. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I thought initially it was my device but it’s super slow on the 5 different devices I’ve used. Are you using apple, safari, chrome ?
 
I'm with Jhalko, I think it's been much better since the server was updated

Mostly iPad at home but I use my iphone on att as well. All my nonwork stuff is apple currently so safari.

As the tech people at my company would say “have you cleared your cache”? Hahahaha

Yes tried that. No luck.

Just FYI as an estimate of my experience.
It takes at least 30 seconds but more like 45 seconds EVERY TIME a new page needs to load. Basically any click.
 
No link takes more than 2 seconds to fully load for me. Even ones with tons of pics.

Like mentioned a month before they changed servers it was pretty slow, now its way better.
 
It works fine for me on 3 old laptops and an iPhone 6s. Haven't seen a too busy screen since the server upgrade/update.

ih8mud has some AWESOME stuff but it literally will age you trying to use it.
 
I suggest you clear out your browser cache. It was slow as a dog a few weeks ago but they have upgraded the forum since then and it has been FAST!!!!! At least for me anyways.

0 problems here. No server too busy warnings in a while.

Maybe its all the porn you guys are trying to watch at the same time?

So slow you posted the same exact comment 3 hours apart?

I haven't had any "Server too busy" errors for a while now. And, if I do get one, I move on to something else for a few minutes and it works again.

If ads and stuff are slowing you down, run an ad blocker on your browser. :keyboard:

I seriously don't get all the hate and people complaining and making demands of "Fix this or that!" :blah:. Seriously, this is a free forum. You didn't pay to sign up here. You are not owed anything. You come here voluntarily. Sorry, just my rant.

Also, this is not aimed at the OP.:yield:

Seems to come in and out for me. Sometimes it's ok, sometimes it takes forever. Guess it's dependent on load?
 
Still not slow here and if anything couple seconds?

Man what did we do in the dial up days? Remember that modem screeching and making noise while it was "high speed" LOL.
