Slow forum. Is it ever going to get back to normal?

I haven't had any "Server too busy" errors for a while now. And, if I do get one, I move on to something else for a few minutes and it works again.

If ads and stuff are slowing you down, run an ad blocker on your browser. :keyboard:

I seriously don't get all the hate and people complaining and making demands of "Fix this or that!" :blah:. Seriously, this is a free forum. You didn't pay to sign up here. You are not owed anything. You come here voluntarily. Sorry, just my rant.

What is your internet speed? Seriously though ... can you provide this info for us:

Go to Google.com and type words "speed test" then click the Google website provided internet speed test and post the results here. Then repeat for Bing.com

Site seems quick to me.

My problem is that I'm still getting redirected to someone else's user page instead of my own. So when I get new notifications it links me to someone else's notifications instead of my own. I dont seem to be able to get to my own control panel.

You're not alone, it would appear that using non-number or letter characters in a user name is not being handled correctly by the new s/w. The management has been re-notified.

It has been running VERY slow for me the last week. Just now it took 20 seconds to load this page.

I have very fast internet. I just did a speed test on my home lan and clocked 820 Mbps. Yes 820. I have 1Gb COX internet for $120/ month.

It is the forum.
