Beer/drink of choice
What is everyone's beer or drink of choice? For me, living in Colorado is killer because they don't sell my favorite type of beer. Michelob Golden Light is my absolute favorite! They only sell it in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and maybe a couple more. I'd give anything to have a cold Mich Golden right now.

Hehe
if not those, I'd love a nice plain old Budweiser or a Dogfish Ale

I drink anything offered or whatever they have in the party. I normally drink whiskey (Johnny Walker Black Label, Crown Royal, Henessey, Glenlivet, Chivas -that's what i got @ home). But i'd love to get my hands on San Miguel and Red Horse.

I like Bud Light when I work on my truck. Now as for what you want...How far do you live from Arora, CO? I think I spelled it right, it is right next to Denver. My mother in law lives there and we will be going there later this month and I can see if I can get you some as my "good deed" for the year lol. Let me know man.

For special occasions, it has to be Gentleman Jack -- but something cheaper will usually suffice for most other times. Cheaper swill includes George D1ckel, Evan Williams, Early Times, Jim Beam and Wild Turkey.
:awais:
As for beer, just about anything is good if it is cold enough. For some reason, I have recently taken a liking to Rolling Rock (which was considered nasty stuff when I was younger) from Latrobe, PA. Now it is a "premium" beer in my area.

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is pretty darn good.
And Johnny Walker Black Label gets the job done, that's for sure.
I can destroy a fifth of SoCo in way too short of a time, and same goes with Patron.

Well, I very rarely drink anymore, but when I do, I definitely like JD & coke, Gentleman Jack, & JD Single Barrel. Or I also like a good Vodka Martini - shaken & dirty (GOOD vodka only. Grey Goose, Shakespeare, Belvedere, & VOX are my favs).
I used to drink San Miguel all the time when I was stationed in the Philippines. It was a trip how it was unregulated. You could drink two or three & be hammered. Or you could drink twelve and only have a buzz! I never acquired the taste for Red Horse. I thought it tasted like horse pee (uh, not that I know what horse pee tastes like).
Oh, those were the days...

Ok, i am a wimp...i don't drink alcohol regularly. When i do drink occasionally, i like ICE WINE. Yeah, it is basically a wine cooler (which i like too). Oh well, sorry to ruin the thread!

I've heard of ice wine, but have not had the occasion to try it. IIRC, the grapes are picked during cold nighttime temps to concentrate the flavors? Do the ice crystals shear the grape to create more flavor? I also like Barolo and Babaresco.
Personally, I'm a Sam Adams fan... They have a winter sampler, with a porter, winter lager, ale and lambic. (i could do without the fruity lambic)
Sam Light is the best light beer by far.
Coffee: Newmans own.. Paul did good things while he was with us. Also Dunkin donuts (its a new england thing!)

Lite Beer? Are you guys sure you're 4x4'ers?....hehe
If you're ever up in Canada then I'd recommend Alexander Keith's Amber Ale, it's probably one of the easiest drinking beers I've ever had. Me personal favourite right now is the Okanagan Springs Porter (8.2% baby). I'm a big fan of microbrews and the Boundary Bay Oatmeal Stout in Bellingham Wa. is great!
I love beer, and brew my own at home. Just finished the last of my Brown Ale, the Double Honey Blonde will be ready on Friday for it's first tasting.

That's a huge business where I live . Is that stuff ever EXPENSIVE !! A real skinny bottle ( looks like 2 glasses worth ) , anywhere from 40-80 bucks for that .
I'll take my Appleton's Rum in the winter any day

It is the Nations oldest beer still in production.
