Talk about weird movies:
1. Killing Season
2. Bachelorette
3. Grave Encounters
Awesome Movies:
1. Redemption
2. Immortals
3. Stargate
4. 21 & Over
5. Thor
^ Those are what we have seen in the past couple of weeks...
But, When it comes to something funny(For me at least), I watch/like "Family guy" and "The Cleveland Show" ...

Surprised this thread hasn't been updated more as well.
Not a movie, but the series Ozark is phenomenal. Jason Bateman killed it in the directing and acting department.

There are websites that help you to search certified fresh movies on various streaming sites. Good luck.

If you guys haven't watched Tucker and Dale vs. Evil yet, definitely give it a shot. I went in expecting a dumb horror comedy, but it's actually hilarious and way smarter than you'd expect. The Nice Guys is another one worth checking out if you like dark humor and a good story. Both are great for a lazy night when you just want something fun to watch.
