Hesitation under a load at 1700 rpm

1997 T4R sr5 v-6 3.4L 177k miles

I have been having problems recently with my Runner. It seems that when I drive it on flat land it is fine, but as soon as I go up a hill of any sort, at about 17-1800 rpm it wants to sputter. Now you can get off the gas and get back on it and get past that range and its fine. I have recently seafoamed, cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the MAF, and changed the plugs and wires. I have noticed a little residual oil coming through one of the vacume lines closest to the throttle body. The 3/4" line I think. I am wondering if I have a TPS problem, but theres no codes. Other than that, it runs great. Any suggestions?

I haven't had my T4R very long so I can't say this with authority yet, but I had a similar problem on an old Mazda and it turned out to be a stuck PCV valve. Fairly cheap and easy replacement (we're talking $10 and a couple hours of your own time)... I would look into that first.

I've done this + replace the fuel filter. A guy I work with suggested it might be the EGR valve, he said alot of shops could probably tell this with a sniffer?
 
If the EGR valve is stuck you should be getting a code. Is there anyone nearby you can start swapping sensors with?
