0-60 for a '05 SR5 V6 2WD???

Not that I plan on racing it or anything. I'm just curious. It feels much quicker than my Trailblazer and it was "supposed" to be 7.7 I think it was.

My '99 Camaro SS with a LS6 cam, headers and a 2600 stall converter on drag radials would hit in the 4.1 - 4.2 range 0-60 with a friends G-Tech. I miss the power at times, but we just out grew the car. I guess I'm just curious as to how well the 4R sprints 0-60 as it seems quite peppy.

I *think* the V6 is in the lower 7s. V8 is just a bit faster.

The vvt-i V6's don't give up much power to the V8's which is crucial for acceleration, plus the 2WD is lighter than a 4WD, so I wouldn't be suprised if it were around 7.2-7.5s. I haven't had a chance to go head-to-head w/ a V6 yet so I wouldn't know how they compare. I bet they're faster than a BMW X5 3.0i though...

The 4WD vvt-i V8 is listed as 7.2 in stock form in a recent C&D article. This time seems to be pretty consistent through other tests that have been posted on the internet.

Alittle off topic but my friend just won a new Mustang so we were cruising around but somehow, he wanted to race me. So i did just for the fun of it, even though i know i will lose. When we lined up and everything, i had the best launch ever! About 1-2 cars length but then the Mustang caught up and he was gone! But yea, never really raced before so just wanted let you know not to underestimate a T4R. :
