00 4runner sport new to the forum Hello

Hi I am new to the forum just sold my 02 toyota tacoma trd and bought a 00 4runner sport, something a little more family friendly than my extended cab taco. This is my first 4runner so far i love it. Bought it on ebay, flew to San Antonio TX and drove it back to Peculiar MO where i live. It has a 5 speed manual trans, OME 3 inch lift,TRD supercharger,TRD headers. Got it home rear axle seals were leaking so i removed rear axles pressed on new bearings and replaced all seals also resealed third member while it was out. Also had to replace complete rear brakes due to oil contamination. Installed new **** Cepek mud country tires 285/75/16 on stock rims also just added a Yakima Load Warrior roof top basket where i carry my full size spare tire and an ALL Cast HI LIFT jack with mount. soon to come lockers gears and custom bumpers thanks for reading

BTW, when you did your rear seals, did you swap out the diff breather too? You should definately do that when doing the seals, as these are what cause the seals to blow out in the 1st place. The breather gets clogged with oil or dirt and then the rear diff doesn't breath, causing the pressure inside to blow out your seals. I ended up doing my seals and brakes twice, before going to the Dealership, and having them do it. They filled me in on the details.

You could also do the Diff. Breather Mod, and iliminate the chance of it ever happening again.

this is daltons (trailmix) old 4runner i looked at the linked post and that is my truck i paid 7k for it which you could say is too much but you are hard pressed to find a 5 speed 4runner as far as miles the only one in my area for sale was stock limited no locker with 185k for 6k dollars and not near as nice of a truck beat up torn seats ect. I am very happy with the truck and for what i paid i could not have replicated it with the truck that is in my area.

i have already installed new front struts, new **** cepek mud country 285 75 16, yakima load warrior roof rack with full size spare and all cast hi lift jack mounted to roof rack, new supercharger belt got rid of the magnaflow muffler and installed vibrant muffler dumped in front of the rear axle next will be custom rear bumper with swing away tire carrier and two jerry cans custom front bumper with winch mount, gears, lockers and custom rock rails
