'00 SR5 have painted flares & 16's?

I'm looking at buying a 2000 SR5. It has chrome bumpers and painted fender flares and 16's?

I do know the vehicle was in an accident and had a fender replaced.

I thought the SR5's all had 15's and the Limited got the bigger brakes and 16's.

The color-coordinated fender flares are optional equipment on the 5VZ-FE engine SR5 grade model. 16" wheels were an available option as well.

Is there another way to tell if it came with 16's from the factory of the owner has added them later? Or how do I know it has the larger brakes?

I think the original rim/tire size (from the factory) is listed on the tag inside the driver's door jam.

Most SR5s have the bigger rims and I thought only the 4bangers or 2wd had the 15s.

My door jamb sticker lists the smaller size and mine never had that size on it.

Door jam says 15's. Seller had the original window sticker and listed 16's as part of an option package that included the bigger brakes.

Also, remember that in 2000 there was a base model 4Runner positioned below the SR5. Those were the ones that typically had the 15's.

Hmmm...I know here in HI, base runners came with the 15's, but you could buy one with an option group which included dealer installed 16's which would account for the discrepancy.

The tag on the door lists the rim/tire combo from the factory.
