Sloan said:yea that is a cool one, but its a mod for a 96-00 grille, not the newer ones.

LINY4Runner said:Started by cutting out the fins, then sanded down the posts that held the fins in place. Then I again sanded it with lighter sandpaper just to scuff up the whole thing. Cut out some mesh from Home Depot and glued it in place using RTV. I chose RTV because it's thick and has body to it, unlike super glue which is runny and thin. After this I taped off all the chrome, removed the Toyota emblem and did two coats of primer, two coats of flat black, peeled the tape off and installed! Took about 4.5 hours from start to finish
really? I thought I was the only one.SilverBullet01 said:see i had the mesh grill like liny does, and it was an easy mod, but i got bored of it......
so i got the same one that bodum has now.
and i like it and all.... but it doenst blow me away, plus the bas**** was supposed to send me black and he sent me silver.....
but i think in the long run i may sell it and do the Satoshi mod

I think it would look good with the Imperial Jade Mica and wouldn't stand out too much but would still make a noticeable difference to you and others who notice things like that. Let us know what you end up deciding!
