01 Cabin Air filter?

I have a musty smell coming from the vents. I only notice it when the A/C is on, but my husband complains about it all the time. I searched for a cabin air filter part #, but there doesn't seem to be one listed for the '01.
The truck was bought used, so I have no idea what has happened to it.
Any suggestions about fixing this? I'm ready to take apart the dash and clean all of the hvac lines (but I really don't want to do that)

You might want to clean out your incabin filter and see if that helps.

Just use an air pressure hose to clean it out and see if that works. If not, then replace it.

Since I don't have a 3rd gen I can't really say where the incabin filter is located but I'm guessing that it's behind the glove box. So you'll want to remove the glove and access it (that's how my 4th gen is setup so I'm guessing it's the same).
