01 LTD brakes

Getting close to time to do the brakes on the wife's ride.

Anyone recommened or NOT recommend a certain brand of pads, and are there any tricks to getting the drums/rotors off for turning or do they just pop right off? Not looking for anything fancy, just OEM style normal brakes.

I am an OEM fan, so I would just go with Toyota OEM pads, and get the rotors (which will just slide off) cut at a local machine shop.

Where is the best place for OEM pads (is there a good online place or should I just go to the local stealership.....the one that wanted $540 to replace the pads and turn the rotors and drums.....
