01' SR5 constantly primes ABS?

As you can tell from the title I believe I'm having an issue with the ABS. I am a complete n00b to the 4runner and have only owned it roughly a month now but it seems like now that we have snow here in Cbus the ABS pump primes more than it should. This priming of the system (which best I can tell is on the firewall) humms for approx. 5-10 seconds and then proceeds to make a clicking noise either somewhere in the bay or it might even be near the back of the truck. From my experience with other cars this should be normal during startup but not every 2nd to 3rd time on the brakes. If I stay stationary and pump the brakes with the truck on for 10-13 pumps it will 'prime' again.

Any help is appreciated and maybe Im just being paranoid because this is a newer car to me.

This unfortunately is normal. You shouldn't be too concerned, it's more annoying than anything else. My 2002 SR5 does it often including during start up.
