02 4runner keyless entry remote

Looking to get a keyless remote for my 02 4runner but I was needing to know how to find out which remote im gonna need I think it has to be a sertin FCC number but anybody know where I can look to find the number??

Ive already looked in the owners manual but it didn say anything about the fcc number

Does yours have the factroy alarm? I have an 02 Sport w/o the alarm and the FCC ID that worked for me is HYQ12BAN, the one that seems to work for people w/ the factory alarm ends in 1512Y IIRC.

I dont think mine has an alarm but im really not sure???I havent seen any alarm light on the 4runner but is there any way I can find out the fcc number I need???

No light probably means no alarm so I would say the one that works with my truck would probably work with yours. Don't know any way to guarantee that though.

No light probably means no alarm. You can also check under the drivers eat as thats where the alarm "brain" is usually mounted if installed from factory.
