02 oxygen sensor for Air/Fuel Guage

anyone know where, and how to hook up an 02 oxygen sensor for a air/fuel guage on a 02 4runner? they changed out the sensor on the late 99, early 00 and most to all of 01-02 4runner. i am having a downpipe made with the bunge welded on for the older sensor version. i dont know where to plug it nor to weld the bunge on at.

its so i can tune my SC.

Are you installing the LC-1/xd-16 combo or using the LM-1 for tuning? Either way, they both use a screw-in style bosch sensor and a bung just needs to be welded in your exhaust anywhere you can put it so it is not facing below the 3 or 9 oclock position.

Are you running a custom header, y pipe, exhaust??

The closer to the exhaust manifold the better. They have to reach 800 degs in order to begin working, so the closer they are the faster they get a reading.

its getting a custom pipe from header back. mounted with a trd exhaust. the extra sensor is going to be use just for air/fuel ratio gauge to tune only.

If you will be taking it out inbetween tunings, then be sure to put it somewhere easily accesible. Alot of people put it near the stock 02 location - before the first cat.
