I'm new here...I just bought an 02' Sport with about 65k miles on it.
Over the past few days it's been really hot outside...around 92-94 degrees. Anyway, there's a strange dull hum coming from the A/C when I crank it up. It only presents itself when I have the A/C turned up to the 75-100%.
It gets even worse when I turn on the re-circ.
I did a search and everything turned up stuff about squeaking and squealing.
The noise I have is more of a dull engine drone.
