man what's up with these toyota brakes? I've had the dealer surface the rotors and replace the front pads because he said the pulsation was because the brake pad were shot at 28K!

Anybody have any ideas or fixes? I am sick of the pulsation and the dealer already charged me $200...Thanks...

My 00 GMC had 70K on it with no brake issues..our 99 acura went 100K without a brake job...

Did it solve the problem? If so then all is good. Heavy vehicles are tough on brakes. 28K miles seems too early but if turning the rotors and replacing the pads solved the problem, then just live with this frequency of repair.

nope...about a week after it started to pulsate again...seems like the rotors must be warped beyond spec...I am just living with it for now, since I've heard of others with the same issue...

If I paid $200 for my brakes to be fixed and a week later they were doing the EXACT same thing, I would be back at the dealer in a hearbeat. I dont understand why people pay to have something fixed and then refuse to complain about it when it didnt actually fix the problem.

never have oem rotors turned. they just warp faster!

when they go, get some brembos and be done with it.

Did the dealer check your rear brakes also. I have seen rears give a vehicle 'brake shake' as well as the fronts.
