03 front parking light color??

I bought my 4runner used. It had yellow parking light bulbs in the front.(one out). All bulb charts and the chiltons manual say use a 168 bulb which is white. Is it supposed to be WHITE? Or YELLOW? Not the turn signal bulbs down in the bumper. The ones in the headlight housing.

It is suppose to be amber. Owners manual specifies the front parking light as 168 amber. I have not actually shopped for one, but I asume number 168 is available in both white and amber. Map an license plates lights are also 168, but in white.

Amber-not yellow. Thanks, I thought so. They were white on my subaru. Going through state inspection tomorrow. Just trying to get it right the first time through. I actually bought a different number. I forget what. But, same shape and they are amber. Thanks again.

I just did this last weekend. You want the 168A despite what the books in the auto parts store say (Autozone said 168 as well).
