'03 seats fit '05?????

Will an '03 4Runner seats fit OK in an '05 SR5????

I have an '05 SR5 w/out leather. I saw an ad for a parted out '03 w/ leather seats. I'd be interested if they'd fit like OE.

Anyone with words of wisdom??

I priced leather replacement seats locally...for $1600. Too rich for the budget right now.

Don't see any reason why they wouldn't. The body structure hasn't change, so the mounting points should be the same. I can take some measurements of my seat tracks if you need. They only problem I see is whether or not you have a wire harness under the carpet near the seats for the power seat motors.

My SR5 doesn't have the power seat option. Good point. The '03 leather seats may be powered.
More to think about.

Did you check out CST (Classic Soft Trim)? They have leather cover packages that look better than OEM and they don't replace your whole seat.

I bet they could beat $1600...

The CST leather looks great, you can search here and find some pictures of it. Also if you want to DIY I think they sell the leathers for you to put on yourself for less than half of the installed price.

They should fit, but I believe they changed some of the seatbelt sensors on the front seats in the '05s, not too sure, so you may want to check up on that. As far as I know, there were no changes to the rear seats.

I bought a leather kit off eBay and installed it myself for less than $400. It's a bit difficult to do, but saved me a lot of money.

I just read the thread on your e-bay leather. I'm not talented enought to do justice to a project like that.

Need to get the wife to pull some overtime and get me some cst leathers!
