04 4Runner stuck moonroof

I went to use my moon roof the other day and low and behold it got stuck as it was about to rain.

I was able to force it to close but I'm wondering if there is a TSB for this?

And is there SOMEPLACE that allows you to view the TSB's online for FREE.

Not sure the logic as to why if there is a problem with your vehicle you need to pay to see what it is.

Any help is much appreciated. :D

Your out of warranty - does a TSB still apply? But yes I think there is a one. Mine got stuck open too - I had to yank and pull on it has hard as I could to get it closed. It works normally now lol.

You can go to http://www.alldata.com. Create an account - they are one time use its really weird. I just make a funny name like Jack Goff everytime I use it. Then you can have access to have every Service Bulletin for every manufacturer there is. You can only get the TSB# and brief description with the free version however.

No, TSB's still apply. A TSB has nothing to do with a warranty. A TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin that is intended to help technicians fix a common problem that Toyota has already created a solution. In other words, TSB's are normally for common problems that Toyota recognizes as such and offers a set of "instructions" on how to solve said problems.
