'04 'Runner in Sacramento!

Hi everyone! I've been busy looking for a 1st-Gen 4Runner in good shape the past months, unsuccessfully. Oh well, so I settled on an '04 Limited. =) One day......

Been lurking around the 'nets regarding upgrades to the '04, & T4R keeps popping up, so I figured I better join. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR SUCH GREAT INFO!!! YOU GUYS (& GALS?) ALL ROCK!!!!

Thus far, I've only installed a clear hood deflector. It's totally stock (for now HEHEHEE!). 133k miles, one-owner, always dealer serviced locally every 5k miles (YAY!), runs like new!

Planning on a NAV radio, wheel spacers, mild 3" lift, eventually bigger rubber. My other daily driver is an '06 Audi S4. Let's see if I can get better MPG in the 4R!

Welcome to the forum.

I recently purchased my '04 as well to replace my totalled Jeep and to park next to my '05 Jetta.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I love the S4 but really needed extra hauling capacity & 4WD with ground clearance. Lowered S4's don't really cut it for backroads...LOL. Great in the snow tho :becky:

Hey baker, looks like the Jetta's got some mods, eh?
