04 SE Front Bumper

Some douchebag sideswiped my driver side front bumper; no real damage just scraped it down to the black plastic. Anyone have any idea on how much it might cost for repair/replacement?

Am hoping for a decent amount to use towards a new aftermarket bumper - would like to go Shrockworks, but with all the negative posts on them right now, I'm not sure if I want to go that route any other good quality alternatives that you might recommend?

Thanks-

If you were thinking Shrockworks ...Go with ARB I got mine In 4 days from ordering .....Regaurdless of what others opinions are , They are effectivly the same bumpers ....there are minor differences ..but again your putting it on a 4 runner not some gnarley rock crawler. Just my 2 pennies

I agree, but if possible, Id go custom, and get "exactly" what YOU want.

That sucks but your not the first. Same thing happened to me just *4* days after getting a brand new bumper, haven't fixed it yet but hope to soon.

had my truck for just over two weeks and I had the same thing happen to me :-( people completely forget how to drive in snow and are all over.

I'm now on the hunt for a used bumper but they're hard to find.

I would prob guess it would be about 600 for a new bumper painted and installed.

Thanks Ric et. all...

I have the same exact scar as Andyman, I would LOVE to go for a total custom, I guess I should be asking if anyone knows a quality builder/designer in the bay area that would be comparable in price to the ARB/Shrockworks pricing?

I am going to the dealer autobody house tomorrow afternoon, so I'll post the quote in case anyone else ever has the same need.

Thanks again-

Time to cozy up to my new scratch...

With a discount on per hour rate I got a quote for $750 +/-
Ouch! :bash:

Thanks guys for the responses-
