'04 Sport from Central NJ

Greetings all....Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ed and I'm from Central NJ. I bought my 2004 4Runner Sport V-6 4WD in April...right around the time I found this site. This site is awesome...great members with lots of great info. I've picked up a lot of great ideas from you all (my credit card companies thank you). Here's the one pic I have of my truck. I need to wash it and take some more. Stay tuned.

Looking good bro. Is your bug shield the same color or clear? I've only seen tinted bug shields on T4Rs b4....

Thanks...it's a clear Lund deflector that's painted to match the factory paint. I hadn't seen too many 4Runners with it and I thought it would look good with the silver.

How do you like the wind deflector for your sunroof? Does it help with wind noise for the tilted or open positions?

Thanks. The sunroof deflector does help with some wind noise, but it's not a night and day difference. It does help with sun glare though. As far as the bug deflector, I bought the clear deflector and had it painted the factory color. Just have to make sure you paint it from behind so that the paint is protected from rocks, etc.

I've seen your truck and I recogonize the parking lot. Dude we work in the same complex. I park my truck further out by the median. It's got a non-factory spoiler.

Nice truck. I really like the silver hood protector. I have not seen that before. Hopefully I will be able to see it in person around the streets of New Jersey!!
