04 V-8 Ticking at cold startup

My 04 V-8 Sport has started ticking at startup this winter. Didn't hear it last winter. Appears to be coming from the area of the fan clutch but that could make it a number of things.

Ideas? Similar experiences?

BTW, I too have the brake throbbing. I'll worry about it when the brakes need to be serviced.

Ticking on startup

I've got an '06 SE V8 and have noticed the same thing. Only lasts for a minute or so.
