04 wheels fit?

Im interested in buying this set of wheels. I have looked extensively and cant find a pic of a 3rd gen with them on. The ad says they are from an 04 and are 17". Does anyone have a link to a pic with these mounted?

The backspacing would be the only issue that I could see why they wouldn't fit - the hole pattern looks the same. Maybe you could find out the BS from someone in the 4th gen forum and if it's ~4.5" they will stick out about the same as 3rd gen stock wheels. Any more than that and wheels will be sucked in too close. Basically ~4-4.5" BS would be ok.

235/65/17... oem lift... might be able to fit 245's.. i think they tried 255's but the front tires rubbed .. hope this helps a bit.

I know that those wheels will fit fine with 265/70/17s.

I honestly think that if you can't fit at least a 265/65/17 tire with that rim that you have some SERIOUS suspension sag, Donovansolis. That must be a mistake as I have never seen that much sag on a 4Runner, but then again, yours does look very low.

My Tundra wheels are of similar backspacing, etc, and fit 32" tires on stock 99 suspension (even before I did the new springs)

I know that Brandon (Stick Figure) has the same wheels as posted above and the same tires as I do, same situation, they fit well. He also opted for the taller 99 springs afterwards, but still.

a 235 is tiny tiny tiny tiny TINY for a 4Runner. You need some beef with that taco! 265/65/17 is even small IMO.

sry mann i suck at takin pics... the camera was slanted a bit my nerves are bad lol...

but yea 235s are small but my gas needle hardly goes down which too me is a good thing considering i drive a :lookout:

So do you think that the 17” x 7.5” rims would fit a 2001 2WD 4Runner with stock everything? I have 15" rims on there now...but I won't be putting a lift on since it is 2WD...but if I could get 17" wheels and tires to fit without rubbing then that would be awesome.
