Well, from what THorley says, the factory one fails around 55k-90k. So, depending how much you drive.....? Or sit it on your shelf until the day arrives..

I'm trying so hard to justify this, but the exhaust manifold was replaced a little over 2 years ago by the previous owner.

It's not like you lose out completely on the work that was done - you will have un-cracked manifolds to sell. You could probably get a couple hundred for those on ebay to offset the cost.
