spoon-fed info always does :biggrin1:
my rig has 150k on her and i presume would need new cats. i dont think i would install new headers with old cats. how does removing the cats affect the ability to pass typical state inspections (PA has emissions, no idea what it entails)? i'm guessing this is the question of 'legality' within the thread?
saving on not having to replace the cats helps. a simulator isn't much of a cost against the cats i guess. Thanks for the clarity.
They probably aren't bad. They last a long time.
I have no clue the emission laws there but you can replace cats when they go bad. Weld a new one in and you're good to go. Jason B can get you some nice magnaflow cats or anything else you need for that matter.
Toyota sensors are touchy. Sometimes no matter what you do it will throw a code. That means you have to get the simulator or one of the other tricks to fool the computer. Install the headers and new cats if getting them and see what happens.
