I would have paid a couple hundred more for a pre-welded DT header/CAT combo. Could probably have done the install myself if they came pre-welded.

I would have paid a couple hundred more for a pre-welded DT header/CAT combo. Could probably have done the install myself if they came pre-welded.
my shop charged me $50 each to weld it on. If you buy aftermarket cats, that's like $70. So..
$700 --headers
$240 --cats + weld
$940 total for both. You could reuse your factor cats though...
Then it's somewhere else. Wait for it to cool down, Jack it up so you can slide around under it, then start it and run your hand down the pipe listening and feeling for the leak. Or when they welded it they missed a small spot.

After taking it down the highway to get home the noise got louder and I found the leak. It is in the top of one of the welds. hopefully they can reweld it with it installed on the car

Cool. I just got the Gibson SS exhaust from him and was going to wait to see if the headers came up. Might as well do it all in one go

I was on vacation out of country and just got back. Did I miss this sale? I can't remember how much they were before. I'm from Canada and I was telling myself they were $1000 by I'm not sure anymore
