05 4Runna SE (new member)

Im new to the forums and figured i should post up my ride.
Its a standard sportsedition but from the pictures you can tell that its no longer that... sporty but rather more luxury.

anyway one of the main reason i joined is that im lookin for a decent billet grill. im even contemplating having one custom made but i would like some recommendations first. i dunno if you all have noticed but the 05 desperately lacks a decent chrome grill

any thoughts comments or even ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i had the aftermarket leather done to it as well as the heated leather seats installed. wood grain package installed. i bought the crummy toyota exhaust tip at the dealership which is on there...i hope to get that replaced with that full jaos exhaust.. but rims are my priority right now. Two 12" in the back in a bandpass with a MTX thunder 3401 amp. I also throw my PS2 in there for long trips..one project i will be doing is gutting the center rear console(the one with the cup holders and table) and then gutting my ps2 modifying it to use 12v power and fitting it in there.

hey thanks for the link.. yeah that is a bit pricey id have to dip way into my rim monies. i really like the way this looks

also i was going through the forums and found

now i was thinkin.. if it was possible to combine the two?? have the chrome billet grill behind the chrome emblem and bars


i think it might come out really sweet just would have to figure out the mounting issues.

eh, not my personal taste but it's up to you. I think the new chrome grills are too blingy.

Yes please change your signature. I didn't want to just BAN you outright so I figure I'd give you fair warning...

are you able to haul a lot of stuff in the cargo area? Cause my box is pretty big like yours and its annoyin stuffin things on the sides of the box.

Nice pictures too. On the first picture...you should of turned the wheels to the left so you can see the rims on that clean lookin runner.

yeah the box does take up a lot of space. but i have it in there so its easy to remove. its held down with just one bolt that you can untighten with ur hand. also the speaker cable comin from the amp is attached with banana plugs so i just have to pull them out. the only thing i cant remove is the amp which is on the back of the driver side rear seat.. usually i just throw a towel over it if i have to haul anything big.

i havent had much issues with it, then again i really havent been using this car to move around stuff. i usually use a nissan pathfinder for the dirty work.

and yeah i could use new pictures the background on those is terrible! i think it would look better if it was all muddy.. but its this clean 4runner chillin on some grimey land..weird.
