05 4Runner Dash Kit - Metra or Scosche??

So... I have all my stereo components finally installed and I hate the cheap trim pieces on the sides of my deck (Eclipse 726e). I want a full dash kit to fill the opening more and make the HU more flush. Is the Scosche kit (TA2079B) much better than the Metra kit (95-8210)? I can get the Metra kit locally at several places but would have to order the Scosche. If anyone has pictures of either that would be great also.

I have that same Metra kit (95-8202) now but there is a different one (part number listed) that I'm looking at. I was looking for a comparison of that kit and the Scosche kit. Thank you for your help!

are u looking for the one for the jbl equiped? it might not work witout alot of mod to it.

Both kits I'm looking at are for the JBL opening. I want to know what each looks like and how each fits when installed.

I recently replaced my Toy double din original HU with a single Pioneer with the Scosche 'pocket'. The Scosche pocket fit perfectly! Highly recommended.:cowboy:

I had tried both with my AVN726e, both were not even close to being flush. I wanted a more OEM look and ended up with the Urban Runner Trim. It was $$, but to me, after dropping a decent amount on the system, why not spend just a little more to make it look good.
