05 4runner limited with rear ras question

hi guys quick question. i am looking at buying a 2005 4r with the v8 and it has the rear adjustable suspension. I am assuming it uses airbags in place of rear springs. at the moment the truck has 60k with no issue in the system.
my question is, if in the future it has an issue (leaking or blown airbag) can they be replaced with normal 4runner coil springs to just delete the bags?
thanks

Ark_Swamp_Rider has the best write-up about this.

My RAS system failed (height control sensor went - too costly to replace), but I kept the RAS with a manual fill fix.

glad to hear there is a kit available. another question, when putting the truck on a lift or raising the rear off the ground, does anything need to be done in order to not blow the rear bags due to over inflation from the pump. I heard on the older fords you had to disable the system first.

Technically you're suppose to hit the off switch in the console before lifting it. I usually tend to forget and haven't had any issues though.
