05 4Runner tranny problem

So I've got an 05 4runner with 105k on it. Last 2 weeks tranny has acted up. Once from stop light when I hit the gas engine just revved and didn't move, like it was in park. Then just today was doing about 30 mph and went to give it some gas and engine just revved. Slowed down and pull onto a side street and worked just fine. Like it's getting stuck between gears. Any suggestions? Simple tranny fluid change/flush do the trick?

Should check the fluid level, my 2000 would do that if the level got low. They're hydraulic run.

Check tranny fluid, and smell it to see if it's burned. Also check differential fluid just to be on the safe side.

The good news is that it's only slipping on occasion, but I would highly recommend flushing your tranny ASAP. These problems can go from a fluid change to a tranny replacement in the blink of an eye, so don't put it off.
