hi guys, im in need of a little help. I have just purchased an 05 4runner limited v8 and have only really had it for two weeks. problem is the battery is being drained. I am familiar with performing a parasitic draw test using my dvom. I have a draw of 150ma which is too much. should be around 50-60ma. I noticed when I disconnected the battery I heard a relay click off under the hood in the large fuse box. I have found that the relay labeled "dome" is staying on even after 4-5 minutes after a door is closed and all the interior and running board lights go out. if I unplug the relay the draw goes away and the dvom reads 56ma
I do not have the electrical manual so I am unsure what could be causing this?
thanks

Well, 98% of the time, parasitic draws come from after-market equipment. That being said, I have heard of the visor mirror lights staying on, causing a battery drain, so it would be easy to check those. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress!
