My 05 has been pretty bullet proof, but it is starting to show some signs of its age. The issue I am having now is the fuel evaporative pump is making a whine for about 20 seconds on cold start-up (at least that is what I think it is). It goes off and there doesn't seem to be any ill effects from it. No check engine light, traction control disabled, etc. As a note, I replaced the gas cap about a year ago when it wasn't sealing well anymore and was causing the TSC disable issue.
Any ideas if the pump can be lubed or any other simple fix or maintenance to resolved the noise issue? TIA.
