05 Limited Information Display Voltage Issue

Hey everyone, I have an 05 Limited and the information display, Temp, Clock etc. below the radio bulbs burned out. OK no issues with with taking apart dash. I bought some new LED version 4mm wedge bulbs and they won't light up. They need minimum of 9V. I checked and I am only getting 6.8V where the 2 bulbs fit on circuit board behind LCD display. Dimmer is at full tilt brightness. I checked the voltage on the other controls I changed over to LED and they are at 10.8V I think was measuement and new LED bulbs glow great. Can anyone pop a bulb out of circuit board behind LCD clock display and tell me what the voltage is? Yea I know, like it's a top priority. I'm new here and don't want the dealer to look at because of $$$.
I just hope the circuit board is not the issue and need to rule out or just buy plain bulbs again.
BTW this truck has been the best one I have had. has 123K on it and still rides like a dream. Thanks for your help. Dion

I am having the same issue. I just bought some LED replacements from SuperBrightLEDS and all the HVAC controls turn on besides the clock/MPG display. I reversed the polarity on the bulbs several times thinking I was not putting them in right but when I finally decided to check the output coming from the connectors it was less than 12 volts. What's strange is that before i replaced them half the display was lighting up and now when i put the original bulbs in I get nothing. Hopefully someone has a solution or idea to try. I checked all the fuses (which most shouldn't be an issue as all the other HVAC lights turn on).
